Looking for the cheapest way to watch “Yellowstone” season 5 part 2? Don't worry, the answer is a simple one. In fact, among the candidates in our guide to the best streaming services and best cable TV alternatives, only one offers new episodes of “Yellowstone” (including the series finale on December 15) for under $30 per month. But the answer may be an unexpected one.
Philo is by far the cheapest way to stream new episodes of “Yellowstone,” but it doesn't talk about it much. This is because Philo is not usually a candidate for how we cut the cord because it has significantly less popular channels; for those who want ESPN or local news channels, it is not a cord-cutting solution.
But if you want to watch the Paramount Network, where the final five episodes of “Yellowstone” will air, Philo has you covered. Not only that, but you can watch Paramount Network and a host of other channels for just $28 per month, and there's even a 7-day free trial so you can try Philo before you sign up. That's long enough to watch the final “episode” of Yellowstone for free.
But Paramount Network is not the only reason to sign up for Philo. Even though you're missing out on some of the cord-cutter's must-have channels, that doesn't mean there aren't some big names on the channel list.
At the top of the list, along with Paramount Network, would be AMC, with its “The Walking Dead” series and “Monsieur Spade,” a new cop show that I liked best this year. Others include BBC America, Comedy Central, Food Network, and MTV. For only $28/month, this is really great, even without live sports or local news.
Now that you've made it this far, you're probably convinced to check out Philo for at least a week. After all, with a 7-day free trial, you have nothing to lose.
But Philo has hidden extras that might keep you around past that week, or even past the end of “Yellowstone.”
That is, when you purchase Philo, your subscription also includes AMC Plus (with ads) and Shudder. These streaming services typically cost $4.99 and $6.99 per month, respectively. This will be especially appealing to horror fans, as Shudder is by far the best streaming service when it comes to horror movies.
Calculated a certain way, you're essentially paying only about $16 a month for all the other content Philo offers. That means unlimited cloud DVR, tens of thousands of hours of on-demand content, and, of course, new episodes of “Yellowstone” for $16 a month.
