Streaming services are constantly evolving, and Prime Video is no exception. While the ever-changing library keeps things fresh with new additions, it also means saying goodbye to some truly great films, and as November comes to a close, a handful of standouts are leaving the platform.
From a heartwarming comedy about a marmalade-loving bear to a horror sci-fi classic, these films have something for everyone. And if you're still in the mood to binge watch, check out these recently added classics to the streamer.
“Paddington 2” is a fun family film and sequel to “Paddington” (2014). In this film, Paddington (Ben Whishaw), a kind-hearted bear with a passion for marmalade, lives happily with the Brown family in London. Determined to buy his Aunt Lucy (Imelda Staunton) the perfect present for her 100th birthday, Paddington discovers a rare pop-up picture book in an antique store. He takes on several odd jobs to save money for the present, demonstrating his characteristic charm and determination.
However, when the book is stolen, Paddington is wrongfully accused of the crime and sent to prison. Despite the difficult circumstances, Paddington beats his fellow inmates with his optimistic spirit (and marmalade sandwiches). Meanwhile, the Brown family embarks on a mission to clear Paddington's name and expose the real thief: Phoenix Buchanan, a vain and eccentric actor hilariously played by Hugh Grant.

Their lives take a strange turn when one of the sheep gives birth to a mysterious creature, a sheep-human hybrid. “The Thing” is one of my favorite science fiction horror films and deserves to be seen by as many people as possible. Set on the frozen continent of Antarctica, the film follows a group of American researchers stationed at a remote outpost. Their lives are transformed when they encounter a shapeshifting alien life form that can assimilate and completely mimic other creatures. The crew discovers the aliens after investigating a nearby Norwegian research camp that has mysteriously been destroyed.
As the aliens infiltrate their people, the group grows distrustful of each other and cannot determine who is still human. Tensions escalate as the team, led by helicopter pilot R.J. McCready (Kurt Russell), attempts to uncover the truth and destroy the aliens before they escape and wipe out humanity.

“Ex Machina” is a brainy science fiction thriller about Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a young programmer at one of the world's leading high-tech companies. Caleb wins a contest and ends up spending a week at the mansion of the mysterious CEO Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac).
Upon arrival, Caleb learns that he has been invited to a groundbreaking experiment. Nathan has developed an advanced humanoid AI named Eva (Alicia Vikander), and Caleb's task is to conduct the Turing Test to determine if Eva has true consciousness and emotional intelligence. As Caleb interacts with Eva, he becomes increasingly attracted to her and wonders if she has genuine emotions and if she has been abused by Nathan.

This list must include a classic. The Godfather is a crime drama that tells the story of the Corleone family, a powerful Italian-American crime syndicate led by patriarch Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando).
The film begins with Vito officiating his daughter's wedding, demonstrating his influence and power in both the underworld and the community. However, the balance of power begins to shift when a rival family challenges Corleone's control, setting off a series of violent conflicts.
Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), Vito's youngest son, initially distances himself from the family's criminal activities and aims for a respectable life. But as tensions mount, Michael is drawn into a world he once rejected.

“Crawl” is one of my favorite disaster thrillers and one I return to when I need something suspenseful and intense. The story follows competitive swimmer Haley Keller (Kaya Scodelario) as she navigates a Category 5 hurricane in Florida in search of her estranged father Dave (Barry Pepper). She finds her father injured and trapped in the cramped confines of the family home.
As the hurricane worsens, the rising waters pose a deadly danger: a pack of huge, aggressive alligators has turned the house into a hunting ground. Trapped in a flooded crawlspace, Haley and her father must work together to survive the alligator attacks while battling the worsening storm and their own injuries.

His ultimate goal is to rouse the populace by destroying the symbols of tyranny, including the Capitol Building, on November 5.
