Samsung's delayed rollout of Android 15 still has no release date, but a now-deleted post on the company's Spanish site suggests it may not be too far off, and it gives us some of what to expect in the delayed rollout of One UI 7 . gives us a taste of what to expect in the delayed rollout of One UI 7.
The post has now been deleted, but it was spotted by @chunvn8888's eagle eye on X and quickly reported by Android Authority. The One UI 7, which is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S25 family in January, will feature private We had already predicted that it would implement some of Android 15's best features, such as Space and Theft Detection Lock.
However, on the promotional page, Samsung itself describes a “more sophisticated and intuitive” experience that will “revolutionize the way you communicate and unleash your creativity to do it all” (machine translated, you can probably tell by the clunkiness), competing It gives us insight into what they plan to do to set themselves apart from the competition.
The most exciting change is based on Galaxy AI. Sketch to Image, a feature that allows you to draw doodles and have AI flesh them out, will be updated with more ways to adjust the output to your liking, so you can turn the finished product into a 3D cartoon, sketch, or watercolor.
There is also a new Portrait Studio, which turns selfies into stylized photos that are perfect for social media profiles. Just choose whether you want a cartoon, sketch, or comic, and the AI will do the rest.
Samsung's phone has a pinhole camera instead of a floating notch like the latest iPhone, but the company still seems to have drawn some inspiration from Dynamic Island. In another short video, smart notifications float in a cyclable oval at the bottom of the lock screen, and recorder, timer, and media controls are demonstrated, not a million miles away from the rich on-the-go notifications rumored for Android 16.
The Galaxy Store also appears to be introducing parental protection with One UI 7. The screenshot shows a child account requiring permission to install apps from the store from a connected parent or guardian.
The icons have also been refreshed as previously leaked, again leaving Samsung open to the possibility of AI features being paid for in the future.
No one knows yet when the One UI 7 will finally arrive, as it has been delayed several times since it was first reported in May. It seems unlikely that the Samsung Galaxy S25 will launch in January without a new version of the OS, and this accidental promo page suggests we may still see it by the end of the year. Perhaps Samsung has an early Christmas present for its fans.
