The best streaming services, including Hulu, have extensive content libraries. While it's great to have unlimited access to TV shows and movies, it can be hard to know what to watch. Fortunately, Hulu has the top 15 shows and movie collections to give you an idea of what's trending on this platform.
Here are a couple of good movies this week. Alien: Romulus was one of the most popular movies of the year and remains firmly in the top 10. One of them is probably one of the most popular Christmas movies of all time.
So let's get right to Hulu's top 15 movies worth watching now. Don't forget to check out Hulu's top shows of the week.
This is based on the Hulu Top 15 movies and shows as of Friday, November 29.
“Elf” stars Will Ferrell as Buddy. Buddy is a human who unknowingly slipped into Santa's sack as a baby in an orphanage and was raised by Santa's elves. But when he grows up, Papa Elf (Bob Newhart) informs Buddy that his birth parents are Walter Hobbs (James Caan) and Susan Wells, and that his mother gave him up for adoption shortly before her death.
So Buddy heads to New York to run a children's book publishing company and meet his father, who is completely unaware of Buddy's existence. Once there, the hijinks ensue in a classic Fish Out of Water comedy. If you haven't seen it yet, or haven't seen it in a while, I urge you to see one of the most beloved Christmas movies of the century.

“The Nutcracker” stars Ben Stiller as Mike Maxwell. Mike is a workaholic, but when his nephews are orphaned in a car accident, he goes to a rural Ohio town to take care of them while social worker Gretchen (Linda Cardellini) tries to find them a new home.
That three-day trip quickly turns into weeks of chaos. Mike finds himself having to handle the tasks of parenting, which he is not quite ready for, such as killing chickens, teaching his nephews to have sex, and dealing with the police after they bug the carnival rides. This unruly Christmas movie has been in Hulu's top 10 since it appeared on the streaming service.

“Alien: Romulus” tells the story between the first “Alien” film and its sequel “Alien.” Starring Kylie Spaney, David Johnson, Archie Renault, Isabella Merced, Spike Fearne, and Eileen Wu as a group of young space colonists desperate to leave Jackson's star colony on LV-410. In desperation, they make their way to the Wyland-Yutani space station Renaissance. But when they get there, they encounter a facehugger: ...... Even worse.
This entry in the “Alien” series more closely resembles the 1979 original “Alien” than its action-packed sequel, with writer-director Fede Alvarez returning the franchise to its horror roots with “Alien: Romulus.” While not perfect, most people greatly enjoyed it, including entertainment editor Rory Mellon, who saw it three times in 24 hours.
