The Samsung Galaxy S25 launch date is getting closer and closer, and we've already seen a bunch of leaked renders showing what the phone will look like. Now things are gearing up, with a hands-on video claiming to show the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra making its way online. But it is likely a prototype, not the final version of the phone.

The video appears to have been published on Reddit under the title “Galaxy S24 Ultra definitely”. However, the phone has rounded corners and is most likely the S25 Ultra, not the sharp 90-degree angle of the S24 Ultra. Ice Universe, a known Samsung leaker, also confirmed this speculation on X, as did @chunvn888.

While this does not confirm that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will look exactly like this, it is just the latest in a long line of leaks suggesting this is what we should expect.

The phone in the video is very much a Samsung Galaxy Ultra phone, complete with a four-lens camera setup (and laser autofocus) that is different from that particular phone. However, it has the flat edges and curved corners we've seen on phones like the iPhone 16 and Google Pixel 9. According to rendered images and leaked information, Samsung will adopt this design next year. The reason for this is not certain, but at least there should be no corners to take anyone's eyes off of it.

As Android Police points out, the phone lacks the rumored camera ring around the rear lens that appeared on a recently leaked dummy unit. It is not clear if this is due to the phone being a prototype model, or if Ice Universe is correct in pointing out that the dummy unit may not reflect the final device.

Sadly, we don't see much else of the phone in this short video, including what the UI might look like; OneUI 7 is not expected to appear until the Galaxy S25, so we don't really know what to expect in future software We don't know. But that could easily change as January approaches.
