Owners of the Motorola Razr (2024) or Razr Plus (2024) can register for Motorola's first open beta program to test new Moto AI features. The handset maker announced the launch of the beta program today (Nov. 27).
When Motorola announced the update to its Razr phones in June, the two foldable flip phones featured several AI features, including integration with Google's Gemini Nano chatbot and several AI-driven camera tools like Action Shot But other, more advanced features are set to arrive later this year, and beta program participants can experience them by double-tapping the back of the Razr.

Additionally, Motorola announced a redesigned search bar for use with the web and AI LLM. The search bar searches the Internet and the phone's apps, contacts, and settings. According to Motorola, it will be able to use natural language to perform searches.
There will also be three new tabs in the app tray: apps, news, and journal, allowing users to store information in one place.
If you own a Motorola Razr (2024) or Razr Plus (2024) in the US or a Motorola Edge 50 in other regions, you can sign up for the beta right now. Motorola says you should see a notification to sign up. If not, you can also go to Motorola.com to register for the beta program.
